 McHappy Day 2008

McHappy Day is one of Australia’s largest annual fundraising events, which helps seriously ill children and their families by raising money for the many important programs at Ronald McDonald House Charities.

In the past 17 years, money raised on McHappy Day has gone towards programs such as building and maintaining 12 Ronald McDonald Houses across the country, which provided a home-away-from-home for seriously ill children and their families; the expansion of the Ronald McDonald Learning Program to help children who have missed school through illness to catch up; the establishment of five Ronald McDonald Family Retreats; the creation of Ronald McDonald Family Rooms which provide a relaxing ‘homely retreat’ within a hospital and the Cord Blood Bank program.

This McHappy Day, on Saturday 15th November, Jason and Maria from Monday Drive, and our School of the Month program were at McDonalds Westfield Burwood and McDonalds Five Dock, see the photos below.
