McHappy Day is
one of Australia’s largest annual
fundraising events, which helps seriously
ill children and their families by raising
money for the many important programs at
Ronald McDonald House Charities.
In the past 17 years, money raised on
McHappy Day has gone towards programs such
as building and maintaining 12 Ronald
McDonald Houses across the country, which
provided a home-away-from-home for seriously
ill children and their families; the
expansion of the Ronald McDonald Learning
Program to help children who have missed
school through illness to catch up; the
establishment of five Ronald McDonald Family
Retreats; the creation of Ronald McDonald
Family Rooms which provide a relaxing
‘homely retreat’ within a hospital and the
Cord Blood Bank program.
This McHappy Day, on Saturday 15th November,
Jason and Maria from Monday
Drive, and our School of the Month program
were at McDonalds Westfield Burwood and
McDonalds Five Dock, see the photos below.
