THIS EVENT WAS CANCELLED DUE TO BAD WEATHER

Relive the good ol’ days at the heritage-inspired Concord Carnival at Greenlees Park and celebrate the Halcyon Days of Concord, a significant and iconic period of time that spanned from the 1920s through to the late 1940s.
There is something for everyone at this year’s carnival, including over 100 food, merchandise and information stalls, vintage displays, as well as free amusement rides and entertainment.
Radio 2RDJ will also be there broadcasting live bringing the atmosphere of the Carnival to our listening audience.  So pop along to our stall, meet the 2RDJ voices and see a real radio station in action.
The City of Canada Bay is proud to present a plastic bag and helium balloon free Concord Carnival, where event-goers can fill up their water bottles at bubblers, in an effort to reduce waste and the event’s environmental footprint.  Visitors are encouraged to cycle to the event or take the shuttle bus, and bring their own reusable bag, drink bottle and picnic blanket.
The event is also dog friendly, so bring along your pooch and don’t forget the clean-up bags!
Concord Carnival is on Sunday, 17 March from 10.00 am to 4.00pm at Greenlees Park on Ian Parade, Concord.
