Kaleidoscope at 9.00am on Sunday 11 January (and repeated at 1.00pm on Tuesday 13 January) will include a tribute to Felicity, the program’s co-host, who died on 4 January.
Felicity was the on-air persona of Phyllis Stephenson, the wife of George Stephenson, Kaleidoscope’s host and producer. Our sympathies are with George at this sad time.
Kaleidoscope has aired on Radio 2RDJ-FM for some 22 years and Felicity has been part of every one of those programs.
George is taking a short break from radio and, over the next few weeks, episodes of Steel Needle will be aired in the Kaleidoscope time slot, interspersed from time to time with an interview program.
