STAGE AND SCREEN

One of our longest running and most popular shows.

Originally a 30 minute programme, it has grown to 2 hours each Sunday hosted by James Williams – an ARIA awards judge and also previously judged in the AFI awards.

Rather than a standard mix of stage and screen music, James presents a featured album or artist, or a selected tribute. Segments include reviews and interviews from John Curtis, nationwide TV ratings and highlights of television for the week ahead and notable birthdays and passings over the past week or so.

James also gives you box office figures and reviews of films. Sometimes along with film music, radio comedy segments (e.g. Dad’s Army) , or scenes from popular plays.

Essentially, Stage and Screen is an unexpected variety of music and segments that is guaranteed to keep you interested and entertained. Not limited to an age or genre, the music varies each week to appeal to a broad part of radio, film and music fans.
