2019 Carnival of Cultures

News & Blog

The fun of the fair returns to Ashfield Park on Sunday 24 February when the Carnival of Cultures comes alive with fun activities for all ages.
Starting at 10 and running through till 4, the Carnival will celebrate the many cultures that make up our vibrant Inner West community.
There’ll be main stage entertainment and cultural performances all day, workshops, activities for the kids, community stalls, market stalls and an array of tempting food at the international food market.
The Inner West Council is proud of the sustainability elements incorporated in all its events.
At the Carnival of Cultures there will be biodegradable or recyclable packaging and food ware, water refill stations, bicycle parking and waste minimisation initiatives.  There’s a community shuttle bus to take you from the Ashfield CBA to the Park, so leave the car at home.
Radio 2RDJ is proud to be a media sponsor of the Carnival and we’ll also be there broadcasting live bringing the atmosphere of the Carnival to our listening audience.  So pop along to our stall, meet the 2RDJ voices and see a real radio station in action.
Young or old, it’s a great day for the whole family.
Check the Inner West Council website for more information about the Carnival of Cultures, like it on Facebook, follow it on Twitter and, most importantly, don’t forget to be there!
