Hi everyone,
Between 4 & 5 pm today (Saturday 30 June 2012) Jed Rowe and one or two of his band members will visit Radio 2RDJ for a guest appearance on Black Routes.
We’ll also be featuring Willie’s Blues, a tribute to Willie Dixon by the Violent Loves (who recorded Willie’s song of that title?) a group some of the finest blues players in Sydney’s inner west.
Other goodies include more tracks from Lonesome Whistle (a 4-CD anthology of American Railroad Song), and a birthday tribute to the man Roy Book Binder calls “the master of the single entendre,” Bo Carter (nee Armenter Chatmon).
Check us out between 4 & 7 pm today, on 88.1 FM in Sydney’s inner west or streaming from www.radio2rdj.com/
Cheers,
– Gil
