‘Safar – Humsafar’ is Hindi and it means ‘Journey and Companion’.
Sukhpreet Dhamoon presents a weekly showcase of items of interest to the Hindi community within the 2RDJ broadcast region.
The program includes such items as
• Hindi Film Songs – (based on a theme, or Biography of a bollywood star, or Evolution of Hindi Music, or Songs from different eras (50s, 60s and so on), or Classical v/s Modern).
• Community News
• Community Announcements e.g. any Indian Fair happening or Indian festival celebrations happening and so on.
• Discussion with an in-studio guest
• Review of the latest bollywood releases
• News from Indian sub-continent
• Listener participation.
• Poetry Corner.
